Am 21.10.2019 wurde in einer Belegschaftsversammlung das
Unternehmensleitbild und die im Rahmen eines Konzern-
Workshops erarbeiteten Unternehmenswerte vorgestellt.
Die Botschafter konnten den anwesenden Kolleginnen und
Kollegen nahe bringen, was sie selbst mit den Werten verbinden,
die sie auf den aufgestellten Roll-Ups und Postern
repräsentieren. Im Anschluss, an durch die Geschäftsführung
gehaltene Präsentation, gab es die Möglichkeit für Gespräche.
Die Kampagne wurde sehr positiv von der Belegschaft
aufgenommen und weitere Aktionen sollen folgen,
um das Unternehmensleitbild, wie auch die
Unternehmenswerte, aktiv im Alltag zu leben und
weiterzuentwickeln.

Minafin executive committee has appointed Mr. Bernhard Müller
as Managing Director of its affiliate Minascent Technologies, with
effect from May 1, 2020.

Louvain-la-Neuve, May 14, 2020 – Mr. Müller holds a doctorate in
chemistry as well as an MBA. He brings a wealth of business and
technology management experience from a variety of inter-
national fine chemical, food, and medical technology industries.

Es war eine tolle Atmosphäre. Die Anstrengungen haben sich gelohnt denn alle drei Mannschaften haben Plätze im guten Mittelfeld
erzielt. Eine erneute Teilnahme im Jahr 2020 wird schon von den Athleten geplant.
The annual company triathlon took place at Hasse-See on July 6th in brilliant sunshine. Numerous companies from the region use
this event to compete in sports. Minascent participated this year, after a long absence, with 3 teams. Our teams had prepared with
great anticipation, fought to their limits and performed well in swimming, biking and running. The teams were cheered on by the
many spectators in a great atmosphere. The efforts have paid off because all 3 teams have scored places in the good midfield.
The athletes are already planning their next participation in 2020.

A new 5,5m
3
glass lined reactor for organic synthesis has been
completed. The reactor will extend the synthesis capabilities of
an existing production line.
Minascent is pleased to announce the appointment of
Mr. Eike Weckel as the Commercial Director of Minascent
Technologies. Mr. Weckel’s focus will be on further strengthening
the fine chemicals business and identifying potential new
markets for Minascent products outside of pharma applications.
He holds a degree in business administration and has
comprehensive knowledge in sales and customer liaison,
marketing, product management as well as development and
implementation of product strategies.

at the Health Ingredients 2018. Visit us at booth 8J71 to discuss
opportunities in nutritional ingredients and in PennAkem’s new
EcoXtract, a bioderived solvent.
MinAscent and its Minafin sister companies MinAkem,
PennAkem, PressureChemical and EcoXtrakt exhibited at the
Chemspec in Basel. Our experts from Sales, Marketing,
Purchasing and Research and Development informed about the
recent developments and potential opportunities. Furthermore,
we celebrated MinAscent’s 25th anniversary with customers and
friends.
MinAscent welcomed students from the Georg Cantor
Gymnasium from Halle. The students received an introduction
into chemistry during a tour of the R&D laboratories.
Information on chemical reaction and distillation were presented
by Dr. Jean Nonnenmacher and his team.
Jährlich findet am Hasse-See ein Firmentriathlon statt der seines
gleichen sucht. Zahlreiche Firmen aus der Region nutzen dieses
Event, um sich sportlich zu messen. Auch wir waren dieses Jahr,
nach längerer Abwesenheit, mit 3 Teams wieder am Start.
Mit großer Vorfreude hatten sich unsere Teams vorbereitet und
bei strahlendem Sonnenschein wurde gekämpft bis ans Limit.
Jedes Team hat beim Schwimmen, Radfahren und Laufen alles
aus sich rausgeholt und wurde von den zahlreichen Zuschauern
angefeuert und mit Applaus überschüttet.
